Klepadlo Winnell Nuorala P.C. is a locally based and managed accounting firm in Petoskey, Michigan. Established in 1961, our business clients range from small and medium-sized establishments to multi-million dollar companies. We take pride in the belief that no client is too small to benefit from our services, yet we have the experience and personnel to accommodate many of the larger, growing companies throughout Northern Michigan.

Our professional organization consists of shareholders and associates. We have four active shareholders who assume the responsibility of directing all services provided to clients. All shareholders are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. The majority of our personnel are Certified Public Accountants.

Along with providing traditional accounting and tax services, we place emphasis on providing ongoing and progressive accounting and business consulting to our clients. Most of the companies served are privately owned and do not always have full-time staff experienced in all facets of business. Our variety of professional experience, much of it in the hospitality, medical, dental, non-profit, retail, service and small business sectors, allow us to be available to provide guidance during strategic planning and to assist in solving the more complex problems that sometimes arise. Our goal is two-fold: first, to continually strive to develop a wealth of knowledge that is useful to clients, and second, to use this knowledge to provide business consultation on an as-needed basis. This approach has allowed us to grow through the success and growth of our clients in their business endeavors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Klepadlo Winnell Nuorala P.C. works continuously at maintaining an edge in expertise and performance. We adhere to strict Quality Control standards which help assure excellence. In addition, we are a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Division for CPA Firms Private Companies Practice Section. Accordingly, we undergo outside peer reviews, which, in addition to our own Quality Control standards, assures that the services we offer meet the highest professional standards.

FIRM TRAINING

The professional and analytical skills we bring to an engagement have been developed through diverse academic backgrounds, internal and external training, and engagement experience of our personnel. The skills of our individuals are maintained and extended through training programs. The combined experiences of all our personnel are available for each engagement.

COMPUTERIZATION

We use a state-of-the-art networked computer system in providing services to clients. Our practice is to implement maximum integration of computers and use of the Internet into our day-to-day professional activities, both in-house and at the client's office.

Through effective use of automated work papers, tax programs, graphics, color, spreadsheets and word processing, productivity is enhanced and efficiency is maximized. In this respect, we are in a position to provide clients with the highest quality of services in a minimum amount of time. For the non-accountant, our goal is to make the financial information more understandable and readable in order to facilitate management's decision-making process.
